According to an April 01, 2013 Weather.com report, thunderstorm warnings have been issued from Boone to Henry counties. Ping pong ball-sized hail was reported from a storm near Lapel shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday and Fishers a short time later. Hail has also been reported in areas from Westfield to Greenfield.
The site also reported that in Indianapolis, several tornado warnings were issued. While flooding was relatively minor compared to previous storms, Hamilton County dispatch reported several incidents of quarter-size hail on the south sides of Fishers and Carmel.
For Indiana residents, unfortunately, damaging wind and large hail are very common with these types of storms, and this April’s storm was no different.
Not only did the hail damage cars, and cause traffic delays, but wreaked havoc on several home owners’ roofs. “We see this kind of damage all the time,” reports Alfredo Estrada, branch manager of ASAP ROOFING’s Indianapolis office, a nationwide roofing company with offices in Indiana. Estrada continues, “We’ve already been called to over 40 homes just in the few days since the storm.”
For ASAP ROOFING, attending to this kind of hail damage is nothing new, as freak hailstorms have also been seen in this roofing company’s other hub cities of Denver, Colorado, Dallas, Texas, Atlanta, Georgia, and New Orleans, Louisiana. Thankfully for homeowners in Indiana, ASAP ROOFING specializes in hail damage, emergency roof repair, and complete home restoration. Call 855- 901-ROOF today, for a free inspection.
“Whatever these storms can dish out, we can fix,” shares, Estrada. And today in Indiana, several homeowners are thankful for that.
